New Technology and Communications Coordinator

The council has approved a new part-time staff position for our church.  This position will help to fulfill the mission of Immanuel Lutheran by performing tasks such as:

 

  • Updating our phone voicemail system

  • Uploading streaming videos

  • Maintain membership information and activities in Church Management Software

  • Responding to Google and social media messages

  • Updating Google slideshows

  • Coordinating the video content, production, and submission for our Rivoli Ad

  • Facebook and Instagram posts

  • Facebook advertising (for bingo and special events)

  • Coordinate volunteers for fundraising events and other church roles, such as greeters, altar guild, etc.

  • Maintenance of Sign-Up Genius for events and volunteers

  • Maintain and update folder structure on OneDrive

  • Update WIX church website

  • Email youth families Sunday School and Confirmation information and schedule for teachers and volunteers

In this role it is critical to be comfortable using online subscription-based software, Facebook, Instagram, WIX or similar website platform, as well as managing cloud storage files and folder structure. 

 

This is a part-time, remote position (10 hours per week).  You will receive a laptop to use for church-related work, training and ongoing support.  If you have any questions or would like to see the full job description, please email Jessie Johnson.

 

Please Note:  This is a paid Staff position and Staff are not able to participate on the Church Council.
