Sunday School

Our Sunday school program is held every other week during our Praise Services.  Children can sit with their parents to begin the service.  The children will then be invited up to the front of church to be led in prayer by Pastor Vicki.  The children will then head downstairs for our program. 

 

All children ages 3 to 5th grade are invited to join us.  Youth 6th grade and older are always welcome to come help out. We have Sunday School during the school year from September through May.

 

Parents are always welcome as well, whether you are a new family and want to come check it out or if you have young ones that are a little unsure without you, you are always welcome!

The Sunday School program usually lasts about 20 minutes and then the children will return upstairs to sit with their parents for communion and the remainder of the service.

Our curriculum is focused on learning many of the basics from the Small Catechism of Martin Luther, including the The Ten Commandments, The Creed, and The Lord's Prayer as well as learning about Bible stories, singing songs and applying Jesus's teaching through what we like to call, spreading Loving Kindness.
